Super Skunk Widow Autoflower is a feminized hybrid autoflower named for two classic strains, Super Skunk and White Widow, with ruderalis genetics letting it flower on its own clock. No breeder has published the details of this cross, so what is known comes from its parents. As a rough guide, plan on about 10 to 12 weeks from seed to harvest.

History & lineage

The name points to two well-known parents. Super Skunk is a cross of Skunk #1 and an Afghani; Sensi Seeds, which sells it today, says its final form was released in 1990 and picked up the Mostly Indica Cup straight away: Super Skunk, one of its parents, won the Mostly Indica Cup at the 1990 High Times Cannabis Cup, a win High Times’ own history credits to The Seed Bank.

White Widow crosses a Brazilian sativa landrace with a resin-heavy South Indian indica, and Leafly says Green House Seeds first bred it in the Netherlands in the 1990s. White Widow, one of its parents, won the 1995 High Times Cannabis Cup (Green House’s entry). This autoflower adds ruderalis, the wild cannabis that flowers by age rather than day length; which plants went into it has not been published.

Aroma & flavour

Leafly has no flavour reports for this autoflower. On its parents’ side, Sensi Seeds says Super Skunk’s trichome-covered buds have a typically pungent skunk aroma, with scents on the sweet side of the skunk family and bright citrus top-notes, and Leafly users most often report skunk, earthy and pungent flavours for it. For White Widow, Leafly users most often report earthy, woody and pungent flavours. Our guide to cannabis terpenes explains where those smells come from.

Effects, as users report them

Most reportedRelaxed · Happy · Euphoric · Sleepy · Uplifted
Downsides reportedDry mouth · Dry eyes · Paranoid · Dizzy · Anxious

Leafly has no reports for this autoflower, so the boxes show Leafly users’ reports for Super Skunk, one of its two parents, most common first. For White Widow, the other, users most often report feeling happy, euphoric and uplifted. Dry mouth and dry eyes are the downsides users of both parents mention most, with paranoia or dizziness next, and a cross won’t always feel like either parent. No THC figure is published for this autoflower; as a rough guide, Leafly’s strain data puts Super Skunk at about 16% and White Widow at about 15%. Effects vary with the person and the dose, so if you are new to cannabis, start with a small amount.

Growing Super Skunk Widow Autoflower

Super Skunk Widow Autoflower is a feminized autoflower: it starts flowering on its own a few weeks after it sprouts instead of waiting for 12-hour nights, so it can stay on one light schedule from seed to harvest. Many growers give autos 18 to 20 hours of light a day; our autoflower light schedule guide compares the options. Going by autoflower versions of its two parents, plan on roughly 10 to 12 weeks from seed, and judge when to harvest by the trichomes rather than the calendar.

No breeder publishes grow figures for this autoflower, so these numbers are a rough guide: plants of about 60–120 cm (2.0–3.9 ft), around 350–450 g/m² (about 1.1–1.5 oz/ft²) indoors and 100–200 g (about 3.5–7.1 oz) per plant outdoors. Both parents are known as easy growers: Sensi calls Super Skunk easy to cultivate, even for beginners, and Leafly rates White Widow easy. Autoflower versions of both parents are rated for temperate or continental climates. Our autoflower height guide covers planning headroom, and an auto has little time to recover from heavy cuts, so keep any shaping gentle and early with low-stress training.

Funky Frost Bomb in Auto Form

29 June 2025

Super Skunk Widow Auto is straight-up loud. As soon as the buds started stacking, the whole room smelled like skunky funk mixed with something sweet and sour—hard to describe but unforgettable. The plant stayed compact and frosty, with thick white crystals all over by harvest. Easy grow with zero issues, even in a basic setup. The smoke hits quick—strong head buzz at first, then slides right into a relaxing body stone. Great after a long day when you wanna unwind but not fully pass out. Definitely one of my favorite autos so far.

My First Grow

29 August 2024

I ordered some seeds, I liked the description, as I am not versed in all the different strains> I just like growing plants. I guess all worked out great. I gave most away as I dont smoke it often. My friends could not believe it was my first grow. The only complaint was it was a little harsh, I think after looking up things that I dryed it too fast.

Definatly a keeper

It surprised me

13 August 2024

Soild gentics, realitively easy to grow, loved the LST I did, got a pretty sizable harvest for being a rookie and a auto flower.

Citrus, sweet and earthy tones. Smelly as can be in the best way possible, the smell creeps through my grove bags.

Nice hybrid, give the best of both worlds, euphoria at the start then help lift the days weight away and helps place you in that zen state.

Again was a hit with the people I shared with.

Definitely will grow again.
